Revert to 1.1.1 Version

I wanna first start by saying this theme is by far one of the best in the wordpress library.. It is very well done there are just a few adjustments that were made in the update from 1.1.4 to 1.2 that do not meld very well with my site..

Is it at all possible for me to revert back to the 1.1.4 version. If not here are the things I am concerned about..

The fixed width is just a little bit to big now for my whole site my subpages names on the last link on my navigation bar are running of the page.. I guess if I could change the fixed width of the entire site back to what it was in 1.1.4 that would help..

Another thing is the subpages show up inside my parent page now when I click on it.. Im not sure how to prevent this from happening and it didnt do this before but inside those subpages now I see posts that I have linked into specific categories are now showing up inside every subpage description on my parent pages.

I am also using the add-on Associated posts to have my posts link directly to my pages which maybe causing some confusion with this new feature that puts the subpages onto the parent page…. Some of this sounds quite complicated and I wish sooooo much to just go back to the 1.1.4 version it was literally perfect for me.

Firstly, please use paragraph next time you post in this forum. One huge chunk of text is really hard to read!

It looks fine to me…maybe you could provide a screenshot?

As for disabling the child pages listing, see this post: https://forum.graphene-theme.com/topic/i-wont-to-display-subpages-excerpt-on-parent-page

    Sry bout the non paragraphs…

But yah so basically it works now because my Travel button is last on the navigation bar but it is now a few too many pixels in-ward.. where-as the last version of graphene had my travel button on the very end of the navigation bar yet there was still room to view the drop down page names because the fixed width allowed for some space of the background image on either side.

This is mearly a matter of aesthetic appeal I guess…. Its just that the old version had my buttons laid out soo perfectly that they all fit within the navigation bar at equal distance from one end to the other. Im just a slight perfectionist when it comes to thing like that i guess..

But again I would like to say this theme is top notch and your work is excellent..

ohhh wait… one more question… my webhost offers a site back up and data restore of the files for my webpage if i was to restore my sites files back to before i update graphene from version 1.1.4 would there be a compatibility issue or would I just be going to back to the way the theme was before version 1.2 without any problems or graphene options issues..

If it is at all possible i would like to go back to the old version even though a lot of things about the new version are really neat and clean.. it is just really important for me to have the fixed width be what it use to be.

You could modify the CSS to get greater separation between the menu items.

But if you still want to revert back to 1.1.4, all you need to do is delete the current theme and then upload version 1.1.4. You can get version 1.1.4 here: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/graphene.1.1.4.zip?nostats=1

Note though that version 1.2 hugely improves the handling of the theme’s options for performance. For this reasion, when you revert to 1.1.4, your current theme’s options will be lost, and you will need to set them up again.

I understand after working with 1.2 for a while ive realized it is a lot cleaner and more efficient. I pretty much just added a new page to my list so the space evens out a bit and i saw in that other post that you are gonna make it possible to remove child pages for the inside of parent pages in the next update thats kool.

I really appreciate all your help Syahir. Your theme is excellent. Just promised not to change the width anymore in new updates.. lol =P
