    Hi,

    I want to reverse the title and description in my header on all pages.

    Right now it says:

    I want it to say:

    Scattered, but somewhat organized, thoughts of

    A Cautious Optimist

    I could just reverse the text in the two fields, but I want to keep all other things the same and I want the title to remain as it is… I just want it displayed in the opposite order.

    I’ve created a child theme and I know I need to alter the header.php file… and I know generally the lines that need editing, but would appreciate it if someone could give me more specific instructions so that I don’t “break” anything

    Thanks

    No, you can achieve this with CSS.

    In your child theme stylesheet, add

    .header_desc {
    top: 35%;
    }

    You can play around with the 35% until you get it where you want it.

    While we’re at it, you can use

    #header .header_title {
    bottom: 30%;
    }

    to affect the position of the title.

    Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.
