Removing White Space between Slider & Menu

  • raquellynn18

    Hello – My site is

    I would like to remove the white space between my slider & drop down navigation menu. The blog post titles on the slider have a noticeable amount of space in between them & the menu – I would like to raise this up/eliminate the white space. I’ve looked online but haven’t found anything that works, any input would be appreciated!

    #slider_root {
    margin-top: -15px !important;
    .featured_slider {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
    padding-bottom: 0 !important;

    Nice customizations, BTW.

    Wow, that worked like a charm! Thank you so much for your help & the compliments : )

    Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.

    I think this is what i need to do — but can either Prasanna SP or raquellynn let me know what template sheet you edited that slider padding at? I forgot how to search for a term or word in endless html 🙁

    Thanks in advance !!

    Insert that code in Graphene Options –> Display –> Custom CSS.

    Very cool thanks for letting me know where to put that code for the future ! — it changed SOMEthing but not the ‘container’ inside the slider. its not the top and bottom bars i want to change but the white rectangle container that seems to make a border for pictures inside. There seems to be 10 px white border its trying to make around the media inside the post– the top and left side (only because the pic is too big but i can resize that).

    I’ll keep playing around with it but any advice would be greatly appreciated!
