Removing images under sidebar widgets
Back again! Honestly I do try and work out the problems before I come to the forum. Its just good to know there is someone you can ask.
Anyway, I have to update some imagery that sits below the widgets on the homepage. I thought they would be part of the css butI was wrong. Can you tell me how to adapt this area? Or which part of code to edit.
I saw Josh screencast on using Firebug as I thought this might tell me where it comes from as I can seethe code there. I just dont know how to identify it using Firebug.
Thanks in advance
Are you referring to the text widgets which contain images? Or are you talking about the quotations that appear in the footer? (Which is just an animated gif applied to the footer’s background.)
Love your color scheme, but you are using an ancient version of Graphene.
I guess Im referring to the text widgets that contain images. I go to the widgets sections but I guess I cant figure out how to edit them.
The design isnt mine, but it is a cool colour! Im just picking up some editing work and dont really want to update the version for fear of losing someone elses site!
It’s a single text widget apparently. A sample of the code looks like this:
<a href="http://www.deepbluefightwear.com"><img src="http://hffsolutions.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/DBF_banner-260pxl.png"WIDTH="230" BORDER="0"></a>
<a href="http://www.badboy-uk.com"><img src="
So you just need to edit the text widget to reflect the links and images that you want.
