Removing home page content

  • scozzari

    Hi, I’d like to remove the default page content on my home page. I just want the slider and the recent posts. the copy is going to be on a widget to the left. Here is my website…

    You’ll see where it says “Home” and then some copy, I’d like to take that out. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes — edit your home page to take out that copy.

    Then, add this to your custom CSS:

    .home .post-title {display:none;}

    Yours is the first Graphene site I’ve seen with an Etsy button in the top bar. Nice to know we have some Etsiers around here!

    Thanks for the super quick reply. Much appreciated. That got rid of the content, but the borders and the space of the content are still there. any other suggestions?

    Thanks again!

    Yes–change the above code to:

    .home #post-328 {display:none;}

    .post-328 {
    display: none;

    Thanks so much Kenneth and Prasanna! That did the trick. Much appreciated.
