Remove SideBar from Post Page

    Have a static website. The home page is set to theme default (one side bar to the right) with rest of website set to One Column and No Sidebar. I would like to Blog Page to also be One Column and No Sidebar, however no option available?

    Tried Widget Logic with no luck, any ideas please?

    Did you try changing the template setting for the page you designated as the Blog Page?

    Have gone into the page that has been designated as the blog page “news” and changed template to one colulm no sidebar. However when i click on the news page in navigation bar it still shows right hand side widget?

    Am I missing something? Thanks

    OK, it appears that WordPress ignores the page template setting for the placeholder page used for the static posts page. In the next theme update, we’ll make it so that the correct column mode is applied to the static posts page as per its page template setting.
