Remove link from Post Slider

    Hi There,

I have added a slider to my homepage to show images. I did this by setting up posts with a feature image (I read this is the best way to do this with this theme). My problem now is the purpose of the post is only to display the feature image in the slider. There is a hyperlink now in my slider for each image that links to the post page. How can I remove that link so the slider displays pictures only and can not be clicked on?

    The site is http://www.bandonescapebeachhouse.com

    Thanks for your help!

The built-in Graphene slider is really designed for displaying posts and/or pages. If you only want to display images, you may want to forgo the built-in slider and use a plugin meant to display only images, such as Meteor Slides.

I’ve added Meteor Slides and used the Graphene_Top_Content to place it. However now it is on every page of the site. Is there a way to just have this slider on the home page?

Use the Widget Logic plugin to control the placement of widgets, if the Meteor Slides plugin doesn’t allow for this.

Fixed it with a plugin. btw Widget Logic has something corrupt in the file and crashed the whole site. Had to go back in through the directories to delete it. I used Display Widgets and it all works great. Thanks so much for your help! You rock!

Widget Logic works fine for the rest of us. Be sure you only download it from the official WordPress plugin repository.

It’s possible that it didn’t install completely or correctly. Rare, but it sometimes happens. Glad you were able to find a substitute.
