My apologies, I am the one who posted code. I also figured out what was missing in my child theme style.css. I needed to add

‘ #header{height=110} ‘

to get the results I needed. And I also do not know what backticks are.

That is a beautiful looking header image. And it’s the right size, so it should work with the code above. If not, it could be some sort of plugin conflict.

@saibhreas:

backticks: the button above the tab key on a standard keyboard. Also, your code should include px and a semicolon at the end of the declaration, like this:

#header{height=110px;}

not sure why i needed to state #header specifically when I could not find that in the parent theme?
