    Header image is now 960px x 198px

    Problems since upgrading to WordPress 3.1 and latest Graphene on http://stevehartford.com/blog

    1. Extra space on left and right of header image – the left column is now incorrectly too wide

    2. Order of pages in Menu shifts around, despite specification of Order.

    Please help – thanks!

    Best,

    Steve

    Please at least give us access to the previous version of Graphene until these bugs are fixed, thanks.

    #13012

    Okay, after updating various Graphene options, now the 2. menus show up in the correct order.

    However, the 1. extra space remains.

    Also:

    3. The soft-edge shadows are gone from all but the footer.

    4. None of the individual post Featured Images show up as Headers (even though they are 900×198, and worked in previous version).

    Thanks Kim. I’ve remade all of my header images (please don’t change again!). And now the only problem remaining is:

    3. The soft-edge shadows are gone from all but the footer.

    The shadow has to be removed for Firefox 3.6 and below as well as IE, because they cause too much performance hit. They are still there in more modern browsers such as Google Chrome and Firefox 4 Beta.

    Okay, thanks for the info. And the cool theme. 🙂

    Since upgrading to the new version of graphene my page is no longer looking good. the text is not wrapping the pictures properly and I have removed the line you suggested. my marquee is not lining up and I have some flags for bullets on a previous post that are no longer working. I would like to roll back to the previous version until this is fixed.

    here is my site http://www.burtonreport.ca

    Hi Sab-ina

    Try this for sidebar:

    .sidebar h3 {
    -pie-background: linear-gradient(#777777, #666666);
    background: #777777;
    background: linear-gradient(#777777, #666666);
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(#777777, #666666) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    background: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0 0, 0 bottom, from(#777777), to(#666666));
    filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#777777', endColorstr='#666666'); /* for IE */
    text-shadow: 0 -1px 0 #555555;
    }

    yes, it’s working. the labels lost that round corners, but it’s ok.

    I realised that I have the same problem with that big blue buttons (“Continue reading”). can you fix that, too?

    tnks again 🙂

    Hi Sab-ina

    sidebar H3 corners: (Not sure with IE7)

    Add this line:

    border-radius: 5px 5px 0 0;

    Then buttons:

    If You change these start and end colors:

    You are using (#777777, #666666) in visited group

    Your “hover” state is blue.. 🙂

    Here are my “colors”:

    .block-button, .block-button:visited {
    -moz-border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px;
    -webkit-border-radius:5px;
    border-radius:5px;
    border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
    display:block;
    font:bold 12px arial;
    text-decoration:none;
    padding:5px 15px 6px 15px;
    color:#FFFFFF;
    text-shadow:0 -1px 1px #000000;
    margin-top:10px;
    position:relative;
    float:right;
    -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 0px #42454A;
    -webkit-box-shadow:0 0 0px #42454A;
    box-shadow:0 0 0px #42454A;
    background:#BABABA;
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(#BABABA, #6E6E6E) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    background:-webkit-gradient(linear, 0 0, 0 bottom, from(#BABABA), to(#6E6E6E));
    background:linear-gradient(#BABABA, #6E6E6E);
    -pie-background: linear-gradient(#BABABA, #6E6E6E);
    }

    .block-button:hover{
    text-decoration:none;
    color:#FFFFFF;
    cursor:pointer;
    background:#D4D4D4;
    background:-moz-linear-gradient(#D4D4D4, #737373);
    background:-webkit-gradient(linear, 0 0, 0 bottom, from(#D4D4D4), to(#737373));
    background:linear-gradient(#D4D4D4, #737373);
    -pie-background: linear-gradient(#D4D4D4, #737373);
    }

    What with slider border? 🙂

    the corners aren’t working with IE.

    the slide border is ok, is not blue.

    with the buttons I think I’ve done something wrong. for 1 seccond they are grey, then change the colour again and become blue.
