Problem with SEO in Graphene or..?

  • Graphener

I’m testing tow websites with different themes. I noticed that the site with Graphene doesn’t appear in Google search while the other does!

The site with Graphene contains more content and I add sitemap and SEO tool while the other site I didn’t any extra tool, and it contains much less content and it appears in google in the first pages!

    What could be the problem?

Google, or the theme? or the site itself, knowing that they are made in the same way, just the theme is different and the content!

I like Graphene theme and I’d like to use it but if there is a problem with the SEO this is embarrassing.

    Any idea?

It has nothing to do with graphene but more with quality of the site’s content.

there are a lot of graphene sites that are updated regularly and are indexed just fine.

In the end, google decides what to show in google searches.

poor Syahir, this is what he gets for giving us a free, premium grade Theme.

Ah sorry, I didn’t offense Syahir nor Graphene theme. I apologize for that.

I’m just looking to identify the issue. I said that I like the theme and I want to keep it for my site.

My question may help improving it, if there is any problem.

The issue may also come from my website or google. Google is not always right! Google is not perfect!

    It may make errors.

This is why I’m asking to precise the problem.

This is absolutely not against Graphene or Syahir.

Graphene is a very nice and professional theme. I just would like to know why the source of my problem to fix it. That’s all.

Note to moderators, please if you judge my post as a negative for Graphene, I’d encourage you to remove it.

Or at least, please modify the title from “Problem with SEO in Graphene” to just “Problem with SEO”. or something else you want…

This will be more general and reflects better the issue, not limit it to Graphene.

I don’t want to hurt Syahir or his theme.

It was just a remark. The problem may come from my wrong customizations or bad choice of the SEO setting I chose.

It is not a Graphene issue. Your site may be lacking quality content, or meta description or it might be even having a noindex meta tag. It takes some time for Google to index your site. Try submitting an XML sitemap to Google. Finally, it is upto Google to show which page on search results. I use the Graphene theme in my site and I have a very good ranking in search results. Just search Graphene Theme on Google to see it yourself.

    Yes, I see it!

It’s is strange ! I thing also that the content plays a role too!

If there is a content similar to your website you will be competed by similar content (especially if they are older on the web) but if your content is unique you will get better results.
