previous and next article issues at the top of an article

    I saw this the other day when a blogger on my site posted up a new article with a long title. when you view an article and it lists the previous and next article at the top, if the title is long, the two articles that it lists sit on top of each other.

    I’m not sure if you can change it up so if the article title is X amount of characters long, it’ll display something like this:

    << This is a test 1… This is a test 2… >>

    I personally think it would look A LOT better like the above mentioned example so the two articles don’t sit on top of each other.

    I don’t think there’s an easy way to do that, especially since the wordpress’ next_post_link() and previous_post_link() functions both echo the links instead of returning it.

    You might want to look at the Ambrosite Next/Previous Post Link Plus plugin.
