Prasanna… Ricardo… Ken
So, after exploring the wordpress.org support forums, I have found there are only a select few with competent knowledge who are active on the boards.
While developing my plugin (Ultimate TinyMCE), my inbox has become quite large with help requests and suggestions. So, I have decided to create a forum for offering help (Syahir, I borrowed your “Rules” section, I hope you don’t mind).
I also thought it might be neat to offer general wordpress help and support… rivaling the guys over at wordpress.org.
I have no idea where this will go… but it might be an interesting journey.
I could use a few moderators to help with the forum. I know the last thing any of us need is another site to moderate, however it might be fun. I don’t expect a lot of activity at first, so it would be fine if you only checked in on it once a week or so (as I’ll try to keep up with it daily).
Soooo, I’d love to have you on board. The site is at http://www.forum.joshlobe.com
Let me know what you think. Ideas? Suggestions? Anticipated Problems? Criticism?Mod
Thanks guys. I’m going to spend some time trying to get it to not look so “out of the box”.
I listed the links to the forum in my plugin upgrade, released this morning. So, I’m sure it will take some time before we start seeing any kind of “flow”.
I’d also like to make a “mod” page where we can list our experiences and websites for normal “users” to view, and see our qualifications.
I’m still learning how to use the forum myself, so this could be a little “hairy” getting started. Please feel free to suggest anything to me which will make it easier for all involved.
@ Prasanna, going to go set you to “mod” level now. Sure, I could definitely use a new logo!
And there we go… The Three (er Four) Musketeers!! (I think there really were four, right??)
I’m pretty sure when you guys set up an account, I can send a mass message to the moderator user level. I will keep everyone in the loop through that method. One thing… I do want to be VERY careful NOT to offer Graphene Support on the forum, we can simply direct them to this forum here.
Think that’s it for now. Thanks again, and see ya soon.
