Permalinks and Content Format Question
-
I am having trouble figuring out how to format a few of my pages…
For example on my “shooting” page I have set the shooting page as the parent for my “beginner”, “intermediate”, and “advanced” pages… but I do not want those links to show up directly on the shooting page.
This is important because I want to keep the permalink as ‘aretehoops.com/shooting/advanced’ but do not want those links showing up on the original shooting page. Any suggestions on formatting/site navigation in regards to this.
Here is the link. Thanks for a great theme and for all of the fantastic support.

Graphene Options > Child Page Options.
Do they need to childs of the shooting page?
If you make beginner intermediate and advanced have no parent they wont have a link on the shooting page
You can still make them appear as sub meny by shifting right when you make the menu
Cleevewebby, I tried that, but the pages wouldn’t allow me to keep the permalink as I wanted it because it didn’t recognize the child-parent relationship.
Unfortunately there was a simple fix already built into the options which I didn’t realize…. sorry for the silly question..
Cheers.
I’m relatively new too
yes I forgot that wouldnt keep the permalinks in order
I continue to find that Syahir has built so many options into this theme.
The problem is knowing that theyre there and finding them!
I found this theme early on, tried many other themes using the wordpress theme search
but came back to this one 🙂
I agree, its a great theme but intimidating at the same time…
Now that I’ve figured that out, I am having trouble formatting the titles on the different pages, they are showing up with a gradient blue background and I can’t seem to find any preset options that will change them. is this a CSS item that needs to be addressed in Child theme?

There’s a relatively comprehensive documentation for the theme that you can make use of here:
