I’ve been racking my brain, searching the web, and posting several post here trying to figure out how to create a layout similar to this image using the graphene theme. The tricky part I guess is that the Outside portions need to be fluid. The header for example needs to expand left to right on any screen (I’ve accomplished this no problem) but the content below the header I cannot get right. To me it looks like I should create a page template that uses two columns. And place a table with a unique class around the main content area the blows out to 100% of the screen size and has a white back ground.

Maybe there’s a better way? Suggestions? I’m desperate as I cannot even get page templates to work.
