like many others I am new to blogging and the world of CSS. So I searched through this forum and also used Firebug in Mozilla Firefox, but I just couldn’t get it done.
I wanted to put an image in the right corner side of the top bar, which should also be a link. The blogs name is: blog.e-blick.de
I’m not finished with the design, so don’t judge me on that 😉
I am using the child theme and also edited the file ‘sprite_master.png’, with putting my image in it. I checked the position (in pixel) and the height and weight, too. Everything was okay – but there was still not even the picture shown in the top bar.
You can achieve this using action hooks. See this post for a description of how to do it. You will want to style it in your child theme’s custom css.
