Opening with page that counts down to the wordpress switch

    I realize this is less about Graphene and more about programming, but I knew you guys would know.

    I want to have a site open with a stand alone HTML page (or WP page) that gives some basic information about the site, and then counts down before switching into my WordPress blog. (or gives a manual entry button as well)

    Can someone point me in the general direction of where to learn about this? I wasn’t even sure how to search for it.
