    Hi Syahir

Your theme is great! How can I make the theme one column? I have seen your demo which shows one column version. I could not find any information on how to modify it.

    Thanks

Set the Template setting at the Edit Page screen to use the one column template.

    See the screenshot below:

I don’t see the “template setting at the edit page” of the Pages Setting. How do I set the template?

    Thanks,

    Helen

I did find the template setting on the Edit part of Pages as noted above. However, that doesn’t work for the Home Page which is where I wanted the One Column no sidebar template to work. That only works on additional pages. Any suggestions?

    Thank You,

    Helen

Yes, you can only use page template on a page. To make your front page have just one column, you need to set so that your front page shows a particular page, and then apply a one-column page template to that page. Refer to this WordPress codex page.

Nope, not possible to make a post one column as of the current version. I’ll consider adding it in the future.

That would be great. From looking around I’ve seen several themes that support a one column template for pages, but there are rarely any themes with one column posts and wordpress 3.0 features. Thanks for considering it!

    Hi Syahir,

It would be great if you could include an option to make the whole wordpress site as single column. By modifying a few things I have got it to almost work. Only problem is tha the footer shifted a little to the right and content area keeps stretching to the bootom of the page.

If you could help me with fixing that it would be awesome.

    Hi mehulved,

I suspect that the problem is caused by missing closing </div> when you remove the sidebar. Use Firebug (a Firefox extension) to investigate further.
