not compatible with explore 6,7
So that issue is resolved we posted a new issue. With our registration page (http://adszoom.com/695-2/) Opening in Microsoft explore 9
the theme is off to the one side (left) the button on the form is not correct as well. We have tested this on the local server with 0 plug ins so its not the plug ins. The theme works perfect in firefox, Google Crome, safari and Opera fyi.
The theme also is not compatible with explore 6,7 as well with issues like the sidebar under the posts.
We are more concerned with the issue with 9 thou. Please advise.Mod
Graphene is not meant to be compatible with IE6. It takes a lot of work to make anything compatible with IE6, and I mean A LOT.
That said, however, it should be somewhat compatible with IE8 and IE9. I say “somewhat” because it will never look exactly the same in those browsers as in a standards compliant browser.
Graphene is easily customisable, so we need to make sure that any customisations we make (via a child theme or custom CSS) are IE compliant, if that is our goal.
However, rather than struggle to make our sites compatible with IE, we should be educating our readers about better browsers, which is what I do on my blog. Microsoft will only make IE standards compliant when we quit bending over backwards to make our sites work with it.

Internet Explorer is not a browser. It is only meant to download a real browser like Firefox or Chromium on a fresh install of Windoze.
yes i feel the same way,,, unfortunately ie9 is the most wildly used browser in the world for most everyday users so we may have to look at more options. The problem is our reg page only http://adszoom.com/693-2/ we test as we develop in all browsers and this is a problem so we are still looking for the correct answer. Any ideas?
we tested on local with 0 plug ins and 0 alterations to the theme and can not come up with a solution….

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">To force it to standard mode.
As for the button you you try giving it a class and styling it?
Did you code the form, or did you use a plugin like CF7?Admin

Yes, on that particular page your getting an IE error:
HTML1115: X-UA-Compatible META tag ('IE=Edge') ignored because document mode is already finalized.
SEC7115: :visited and :link styles can only differ by color. Some styles were not applied to :visited.
It’s not displaying the standard mode.
