No child theme
-
It looks fine as I have deactivated the child theme.
As you can see, I have now activated the child theme and its gone all Pete Tong.
Mod
Your child theme folder is named “graphene.child”
Change it to “graphene-child”
Admin
This is the content of your child theme’s
style.cssfile:It contains this
/*
Theme Name: Graphene Child
Theme URI: http://example.com/
Description: Child theme for the Graphene theme
Author: Your name here
Author URI: http://example.com/about/
Template: graphene
Version: 1.0
*/
@import url("../graphene/style.css");
/* Your modification goes here */Delete the first line.
Done that but still no joy.
Mod
You still have your child theme folder named “graphene.child”.
Again, try changing it to “graphene-child” or “graphene_child” in order for the child theme to work properly.
I had changed it!
public_html/everything-poultry.com/wp-content/themes/graphene-child
Am I missing something?
I am switching back to the main theme as this looks awful, but if anyone can suggest why the child theme is playing up, please tell me and I will keep trying.
Mod
Did you edit of Graphene’s core files to begin with? If so, reload the theme and try again.
If not, it may be some sort of plugin conflict. Try deactivating all of your plugins and try again. If it works, re-enable your plugins one at a time to see which one is causing the problem.
If not, it may be something weird that your host is doing, but I can’t think what.
I have reactivated the child theme and although it looks better, the ad’s are all over the place and the menu is all wrong, can anyone help?
