Dear all,

I’m trying to edit my blog’s identity using the customizing options but my new title doesn’t appear on the front page title visible on the tab or on Google.

It’s the old one that remains (the one I had before I updated the theme) and I have no idea where to edit it… and why my changes no longer apply (my new title is only visible on the upper bar of the dashboard next to the house icon with the drop down menu “Go to the website”).

If you had any clue or if if anyone can tell me what file to edit to solve this pb…

Additionally, are you using any sort of SEO plugin?

Indeed I use a Seo plug in so I understand that it overrides the theme settings, right ?

Yes, in that case it’s likely that the SEO plugin is overriding WordPress’ default site title settings. See if you can find any option in the SEO plugin to modify the site’s title.
