NEO and Fast Secure Contact Form

I am in the process of adding NEO to several of my WP sites built with Graphene, that would benefit from having. It’s all going well, and looks good so far. However I have come across an issue with sites where I have Fast Secure Contact Form for my contact page. You can view http://www.jazzjam.org.uk but it is the same with all.

On the standard desktop version the contact page is all okay. However on my mobile, which displays the NEO version, I get all the coding shown in the ‘Message’ box!

My guess is that there is a small conflict somewhere. Have you come across this before? Is there a coding adjustment to sort it out please? Maybe this is best addressed to the plugin developer, but as it shows okay on desktop I thought it best to start with you.

    Many thanks as always,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

I don’t seem to be able to replicate the issue on my development server (see screenshot below). Can you try disabling all plugins (except GM Neo Helper, AMTS, and Fast Secure contact form) temporarily to see if it’s a conflict with another plugin?

Thanks for taking the time to look at this Syahir.

Deactivating all the other plugins did not remove the issue for me.

I tried replacing with EasyContact form plugin on another site – still the same.

My mobile is a Samsung S4 Mini if it makes any difference. Also displays like this on iphone 5.

Am I able to attach or get a screen shot to you some how? By the way your screenshot presumably didn’t come from the jazzjam.org.uk site as words and layout differ!

Update; Just found the Plugins Control on Advanced in NEO Options and can see the option to disable now!! This may have given us a pointer. The Graphene Mobile NEO Helper plugin is shown as activated in my list of plugins, but is NOT in the plugin list in Plugins Control giving me the option to disable. I have checked a couple of other sites where I have installed it and it’s the same. Does this help? Have we found the gremlin? Have I overlooked coding something in somewhere do you think?

Other than this NEO is a great looker!! Look forward to hearing further.

    Regards,

    Chris

Syahir, in anticipation of your next question …!

I uploaded the helper plugin by going to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload. Then, uploaded the gmneo-helper.zip file I had downloaded on purchase. Although it had to be updated following an update to the theme.

    Awaiting your thoughts with interest.

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

On further investigation I have determined that the cause for this is the clickable phone number feature in Any Mobile Theme Switcher Pro. If you’re not using this feature, you can disable it by editing the plugin file:

    any-mobile-theme-switcher-pro/any-mobile-theme-switcher-pro.php: line 76

    Change the line from this:

    add_filter( 'the_content', 'amtsp_make_phone_clickable', 20);

    into this:

    // add_filter( 'the_content', 'amtsp_make_phone_clickable', 20);

Obviously this is a temporary measure. I will communicate with the plugin author and try to work out a permanent fix, but in the mean time you can use the above.

Syahir, I have changed this on the jazzjam.org.uk and all is well again (checked on Samsung and iphone 5). Obviously I will now implement the change on my other sites and anticipate that they will all be okay too. Assuming no further issues, I will then close the thread.

Thank you as ever for a support service that’s second to none. I’m glad to have helped in identifying an issue that will make NEO run smoother.

    Have a good day Syahir,

    Chris

Syahir, to close this issue, as you may be aware the AMTS Pro plugin has now been updated and so the tweak is no longer needed.

Can I hi jack my own thread by asking a kind of related question please?!

Using the same website to illustrate the point, the desktop version includes the Graphene slider. Is Graphene Mobile NEO designed to incorporate the slider? I can’t see where the option is to code it in – probably staring me in the face somewhere! If you could give me some pointers that would be good.

Apologies in advance if this should really be within a new thread.

    Thanks as always,

    Chris

Hi Syahir, any pointers on adding the slider to the Graphene Mobile Neo version? I’m sure it’s a box that needs checking laughing at me somewhere but I just can’t find it.

I would like to add the slider to the Mobile version if possible.

    Cheers,

    Chris

GM Neo does not have a built-in slider, but you can use any responsive slider plugin like the Meteor Slides.

    Thanks for the clarification Syahir.
