Need Plug-in To Insert Post Excerpts Into Pages
-
When I mark posts as “sticky” and have the excerpts inserted on my front page, I want each post excerpt to also post to the relevant page on my site. For example, for a post excerpt that I mark – either using categories or tags – as “Sports,” I want that post excerpt to also be inserted in the “Sports” page.
Can you recommend a plugin-in that will enable me to do this?
My website is thisisrealmedia.com.

Each category and tag already has its own archive page, for example: http://thisisrealmedia.com/category/sports/

You can probably achieve this using some posts listing plugin, but most importantly, why recreate a functionality that already exists?

You don’t need to do anything. It’s built in to WordPress. Just click on any tag or category link, and it will take you to the archive for that particular tag or category.
As I indicated previously, I don’t want my visitors to have to go an “archive” page. I want them to go to one of the pages in my header menu and be able to view a page containing excerpts of all of the articles on that page, with the ability to click on “Read more” to see the full article.
Can anyone tell me how to make that happen?
Use Kalin’s Post List plugin. There is a good tutorial on Ken’s blog.

Or, just use a custom menu to link directly to the archive pages.
