Need help with page of images and text

OK…I’m very new to this so please be kind. I’m moving a very dated site (www.danlynchfarms) to WordPress using Graphene. What I’ve done so far has been fairly easy and I’ve learned a lot. (beta.danlynchfarms.com). It’s a wonderful template.

My issue is on the “horses for sale” page. (http://beta.danlynchfarms.com/?page_id=7)

I’m trying to line up the images on the left with text to the right of each image. I know i shouldn’t be using a table for formatting but, as you can see, the formatting is not working. I’ve tried adding breaks and paragraphs to this, but the page keeps cascading the images toward the right until it runs out of space, then starts over again. If you look at the old site (www.danlynchfarms.com/horsesforsale.htm), this is how I’d like it to look.

Can someone please help me with this.

I’m sorry that I don’t have any CSS experience either.

    Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!

WordPress adds a float to images. You need to clear that float after the paragraph to get things to line up right.

In the html editor, you can just add this line before the next paragraph:

    <div style="clear:both;"></div>

    to clear the float.

There are also plugins that will do this for you. I like the TinyMCE Clear plugin.

Wow…so simple. It looks great now.

I’ll take a look at the plugin too.

Thank you so much for the help.

Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.
