Multiple pages in the center column instead of only one
I’m trying to use the graphene theme to make my page look like this site -> http://krmradio.net.
The best way to describe what I’m trying to figure out now is how how to put multiple pages on the static front page, instead of one and look like the site mentioned. I’ve tried putting post id numbers in the homepage panes and that did not do the trick. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m no expert on this, but I think what they’ve done on this website is used sidebars and widgets to create a three column layout. If you go into you Appearance – Graphene Options – Column Options, you will be able to define your layout. If you want your site to look the same as this, you’d pick the three column layout (sidebars on the left and right). Then you can just place whatever widgets you want in the sidebars to publish the information you want on your website.
If I’ve understood you correctly, I think this will do what you’re wanting. 🙂
I have already done that. But normally on the static front page there is only one “page” in the middle column, whereas that site has multiple things in the center column and each one of those things is actually a separate page that a person could click on and be taken to it’s individual page. What is on that page is the same thing you have seen on the homepage but all by itself instead of alongside other pages.ModQuote:there is only one “page” in the middle column, whereas that site has multiple things in the center column and each one of those things is actually a separate page
Be careful with your semantics; a “page” has a specific meaning both with regard to the www and within WordPress itself.
If you install the Firebug extension for Firefox, or use your browser’s “View Source” function, you will see that pages such as the “DJ Shows” page (http://www.krmradio.net/dj-shows/) is actually a post that is merely using the Meteor Slides plugin, and what is showing on the front page is an excerpt.
If you ask me, that site is actually poorly organized. Rather than use a WordPress post for the “DJ Shows” page, they should use a WordPress page instead. But this there is nothing on the post that isn’t on the front page, they should have just added the code for the meteor slides plugin to the front page. This saves both a few hits to the database, and a frustrating user experience where you click on something and it actually shows you less than the page you were just one.
