Hi, I’m a bit of a beginner, and I can’t seem to figure out how to get multiple images on my slider. I have a couple different posts on my niche websites (http://automatic-cat-feeder.net/) and it displays different text for the 2 different posts when the slider switches posts, but I can’t figure out how to switch the image. I set the image in the graphene options to the image that appears on both posts for the slider. I’m wondering if there’s a way to set different images for each post in the slider. Thanks!
Here’s how I do it.
1. Set the slider to show specific posts/pages.
2. Write down the numbers of the page ID’s for each page you want to show in the slider. These can be found if you go to the post/page screen (which lists all the posts or pages) and hover over the ones you want to use in the slider. The page ID will show up in the link shown in the bottom (or top) of your browser. It’s something like pageID=
followed by a number. That’s the number you want to enter into the slider in step one above. Separate multiple post/page ID’s with a comma.
3. Now, on each post/page you are going to use in the slider, create an image specifically for the slider.
4. On the post/page edit screen (for the actual post/page you are going to use), there is an option to use a specific image from a url. It is below the content editor.
5. You will need to upload your image to your server, and then take the link and add it to the post/page in the slider image option.
If you struggle with this, let me know and I’ll try to make a better set of steps.
