Moving Post Excerpts to Left in Slider

  • alanrogers

    Is there anyway to move the Slider Post excerpts from appearing on the right handside, to the left?

    Many thanks

    Add this to your Custom CSS, or your child theme’s style.css file:

    .sliderpost_featured_image {
    float: right;
    margin: 4px 0 12px 1em;
    .slider_post_entry .block-button, .slider_post_entry .block-button:visited{
    float: left;

    ^^ I tried it, post excerpt still displaying on right side.

    I’m using background image + excerpts in my slider. many thanks

    by the way…

    I’m actually trying to display the excerpts on the bottom of the slider, using background image+slider option.

    many thanks

    Well, You might jog this code in Custom CSS or Child Theme: style.css ๐Ÿ™‚

    .full-sized .slider-entry-wrap {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);
    height: 100%;
    left: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    width: 35%;

    ^^ thanks Kim… it worked. edited mine to move the excerpts below. :))

    Okay.. Then look at the excerpts text. You can copy the first part of the post text

    & insert in the post excerpts part on post page, then You dont push down the button ๐Ÿ™‚
