is it possible to display a message after a comment has been made that their comments are waiting for approval?

often times, a user will post the same comment multiple times because they don’t know that their comments are in a moderation queue.

There are probably plugins that will add this message after they post their comment.

However, you can just use a Graphene action hook widget area to add a permanent message that comment moderation is in use and their comment will show up after being approved.

You should also include a comment policy on your website that points out that you are using comment moderation.

That’s the point of an action hook widget area: you don’t need to know any PHP.
