How do I make the sidebar widget area more narrow on my site?

Hmmm… we are getting into some pretty intense resize issues.

If you want to narrow the widget, it will have that affect on ALL widget areas. Also, if we make the widget area more narrow, we would need to INCREASE the width of the content area, otherwise you will have a big “gap” in between the two.

Let me know if this is what you are wanting to do.

I just want to make the widget only as wide as the longest part of text. In this case, the widget title “MagnusITS”

Are you saying this will change the front page widget area as well? If it affects all of the side bar widget areas and not the front page widget area than that is fine.

I’m pretty sure it will affect all widget areas on your site, sitewide. It is probably possible using conditional php. But that’s a little beyond the scope of this forum.

Actually, couldn’t you just target that one widget with CSS, using its widget ID, like this?
