I have overriden sidebar.php in a child theme to add a custom sidebar for a specific page to create a Site Map page using only the “Pages” widget. Unfortunately, I needed to override the graphene_widgets_init in functions.php. I made it pluggable myself and then added the override code in my child’s functions.php.
