Lower-casing the author names

  • erekibeon

    Hi there!

I just recovered my blog (http://www.erekibeon.com/blog)from a Pharma Hack using the Anti-Malware (Get Off Malicious Scripts) plugin, and it modifyed automatically some PHPs, including some of the Graphene PHPs.

After that, now the comment author names appear displayed capitalized, inside the Dashboard

    and in the user view:

But the catch is that they appear correctly displayed in a Recent Comment widget I have on the left column:

I have searched for text-transform:uppercase at the styles.css, single.php, comment.php, functions.php but haven’t found anything… so what should I touch/add/remove to bring the author names back to the usual display?

    Thank you in advance!

Reupload a fresh copy of Graphene.

Thank you for the advice! Making the preps for the installation I’ve noticed that the Upper Cases remains in the previews of the other themes… so it must be something beyond the Graphene theme.

Thanks for the fast answer! And for everything else, too 😉

In that case, try a fresh install of WordPress.

Mmmmm… I think I’ll pass on that. Too much work for just some capitalized letters in the comments section.

If it persists in different themes, that might indicate an issue with the plugin. Try asking the plugin’s developer about it?
