Landing Page – Images instead of Category-Headlines
-
Hey,
first of all, great Work, a great Theme. I’ve got a Question concerning the appearance of the landing page.
I would like to show the post-pictures instead of the category-headlines. What do I have change to get this done?
Cheers

Thanks for your reply.
I’m using both Themes… Graphene and Graphene mobile.
Graphene with a static Page in order to get this layout:
The problem is the static page in the mobile theme. It is a blank Site only showing the Website Content when activating the posts by categories. And so, unfortunately, it shows only the Headlines but not the pictures . Maybe it is just a setting problem, but I haven’t found a proper solution.
Here’s the Link:

Ah.. I see.. it’s because you can only set Static Front Page once, and it’ll be applied to both the desktop theme and the mobile theme. I’ll see about adding a feature to use different Static Front Page settings for the desktop and mobile theme.
If you have a separate page to display blog posts,
Hey Syahir,
that would be great. Thank you very much 🙂
I’ve added the redirection, works perfect so far…
Thanks for all your help.
Hey Guys…
it’s me again… 🙁
After updating to the new Version of the mobile theme, of course, the redirection to the post page was overwritten.
Maybe I’m too stupid, but I cannot put the code, Prasanna wrote in an other post, into the right Position.
I’m really sorry…but where excactly do I have to put the code into and in which line?
I tried so many times but now there are two functions.php files and I always get Error-Massages.
Thanks for Your help AGAIN 🙁
Regards
Mathias
Ha!!!!
Found it 🙂

You shouldn’t be editing the theme’s files, else you’ll have to do the modification everytime you update the theme.
Use a child theme instead.
Oh, i haven’t seen it so far… Thanks 🙂
Cheers
Mathias
