I am running graphene 2.4.1 and I tried to add the new JetPack EU Cookie banner while working on GDPR compliance. I cannot get the banner to show up on any page of the site despite having added it to the widgets in the footer.
The support forums on Jet Pack suggested adding the following CSS to make it work:
The caching software did not make a difference. I tracked it down to a combination of two things: the banner was showing up in the bottom, not the header of the site and I had infinite scroll activated, so the user never got to the bottom of the site.
Turning off the infinite scroll worked BUT I could not get the banner to show in the header as it was supposed to do.
I switched to a plug in dFactory Cookie Notice and now it all appears to be working.
Any ideas why the widget from Jet pack could not seem to place the banner in the header, but the above plug in did?
Thanks for the assistance!
