Issues with wordpress 5.8

Took the wordpress 5.8 update and now Graphene Plus is causing the dreaded “editor has experienced an unexpected error”. The only thing that fixes this problem is deactivating Graphene and going to a different theme.
I’ve pulled all plugins, rebooted my dedicated server, wiped caches and nothing. It’s something with Graphene. Please help.

We have released an update today that includes a fix for the editor compatibility issue with WordPress 5.8.
Should I rebuild my child theme or should it be fine?
No need to rebuild your child theme. It should be fine as it is with the latest update.
I’m on 2.8.5 and I’m still having the same issue. What is the current build for the theme? Am I on the correct build and if not, I can’t find the link to manually download it.

Everything works but I have to disable AMP in the theme settings.
Yes, 2.8.5 is the latest version. We could not replicate the issue with Graphene Plus 2.8.5 and AMP enabled.
Try clearing all of the server’s and browser’s cache to ensure it’s using the latest scripts and see if that fixes the issue. If not, please raise a support ticket on your account page on our website, and include temporary administrator account details so that we can investigate the issue further.
Do I need an active license to get the update of Graphene Plus?
Yes, you would need an active license to obtain updates for Graphene Plus.
I am having the exact same issue. I just bought Graphene Plus today and am very frustrated with not being able to edit any posts without switching back to the free Graphene theme. I haven’t been able to figure out how to disable AMP in the theme settings. Hopefully that will work. I will also try clearing all of the server’s and browser’s caches to ensure it’s using the latest scripts.
