Images too small

    Hello,

I just recently changed to the Graphene theme and I enjoy it quite a lot but I have one big problem. The theme seems to automatically resizes some of my images. The original size of the image sometimes is larger and sometimes smaller than the resize. All resizes have the same size.

    Two examples of my problem:

    1) http://vinoinlove.com/wine-guide-trentino-alto-adige/ As you can see the second image looks weird. With the TwentyTwelve theme it looks normal.

    2) http://vinoinlove.com/aperol-spritz-the-italian-national-drink/

The images seems to appear as thumbnails but when I go to the post editor they are not. In fact in the editor the pictures have the correct size.

I tried to google the answer to my problem but found nothing. If I cant get this problem solved then I have to look for a new theme but I really like Graphene and all the options it has.. I have just that annoying image resize problem 🙁

    Any help is appreciated.

Try to delete and upload pictures again.

Make sure you assign proper size in attachment display settings.

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunate that’s not the solution to my problem. In the editor the images appear to have the correct size. I did not insert them as thumbnails either. The problem appears only on some posts and not on all posts if that helps anybody to help me solve this problem.

Check your plugins. One may be affecting the images.

I tried that already and just tried it a second time. Deactived all plugins just to see whether its a plugin or not. The problem remains 🙁

It is probably not enough to just disable your plugins, as once the image is uploaded, the damage is done. Try disabling plugins and reuploading images.

I disabled them all just to see whether that’s the problem or not.

If I repost the same article now that I have the theme activated then the images are all normal (even with all plugins activated). It’s just a lot of work to repost everything. Hope there is a faster way than that.

You can always edit posts through html editor and insert full-image link to img src and delete width and height property….
