Image Size

Nope, Graphene does not modify the default WordPress thumbnail sizes. A plugin maybe? What happens if you set the height to anything other than 9999. For example, 500?
Nothing happened when I tried that.
I used FF inspector (F12) and see a lot of mce…
I do have one plugin called WP Edit but after deactivating, it shows when Editing the Media (image) the large option still being 670×503 instead of the Settings – Media sizes for Large.
Not sure what next to do.Admin
Try temporarily switching to the default Twentyseventeen theme and see if there is any changes to the image size options.
I just though of something. Its calculated?
I use:
Customizing ▸ Graphene: Display Columns Layout
Boxed with Layout: 3 columns, left and right sidebar
then
Customizing ▸ Graphene: Display Columns Width
1400px, with 2 , 8, 2 columns
maybe that is what is limiting “Large”.
When editing a post I can fit in the middle column (8) a 900px wide image.Admin
You’re right, looks like WordPress sets the width for the “Large” size using the content area width reported by the theme. Since the content area width is affected by your column layout and width settings, hence the Large image size is affected as well.
Why 900px though, as this is bigger than your content area width?
Well take a look
when I do custom size at 800px wide, I still have room, so I tried 900px and that seems to fit.

This looks like a bug with the function that determines the width of the content area, when the columns width has been customised. Will include a fix in the next update.
