Image map in the header image
-
Hi, again!
See my site’s header image:
http://www.heber.tk/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/cropped-heber-hebrew-fejlec-v1.jpg
It is composed of several parts.
I would like to have ho-spots in this image, an image-map, so one may click on different parts of the image and being linked to the appropriate page.
How may one put a clickable image map in the header image?
Thanks,
Tamas

Moved to Support. Please be sure to post in the correct section.
Try using a Graphene action hook widget area to place the header map info in the header of the document.

I don’t know if you have the image map already. If not, here’s a generator:
or this one:

I use GIMP for image editing on a PC; I didn’t know it could do image maps.
Always good to have extra tools.
Gimp > Filters > Web > Image map
This is where mine is, under Ubuntu.
I have tested http://www.image-maps.com/, and placed the result into graphene_before_content-main widget area. Cool! It works nice!
🙂
(Well, I made only the first one working fully, first from the right, I mean… as this is a Hebrew page, with reading right to left.)
See it at work here:
