I want to try and implement the same image gallery as in this link:

http://egotastic.com/photos/kate-beckinsale-underworld-awakening-premiere/

I like how the slider is on the bottom….and when you click on a picture in the slider…it is displayed above it. I tried doing this with NextGen Gallery but didn’t have any success….

Can someone explain to me how I can accomplish this with NextGen or another plugin?

I use this one:

I use it for rotation. Check my blog on the front page on the right, in the Services widget.

I’m pretty sure it has some options where you don’t have to autoplay, and you can have controls for moving right and left.

Might want to check it out.

If you use your browser’s “View Source” function on that site, you can determine whether or not they a WP site, and then which plugin they are using to generate that gallery.

Hey Ken,

It is wordpress…and I found this…

I tried doing a search for a plugin named bm-ice….but nothing??? Make any sense to you?

Try actually clicking on the link to the style sheet and see if the authors included a website at the top. Some of them do. (I wish all of them did–it would make life much easier.)

the plugin would be mentioned (or available from) the website mentioned. For example, at the very top of the Graphene style sheet is:

Hi has anyone figured out which plugin egotastic.com uses to display their galleries?

Also thesuperficial.com uses the same one.

From looking at the source code I found that both sites uses elements of jcarousel lite but which is a J query plugin (http://www.gmarwaha.com/jquery/jcarousellite/)

however this does not look like a simple task to get this up and running, maybe they use a different plugin and I’m wrong here??

Yeah, CSS is being loaded by bm-ice plugin. I tried searching bm-ice plugin on Google and the first result was this thread! LOL.. 🙂

So, I think it’s a dedicated plugin..

Yep…I was snooping around as well…looks like Egotastic and The Superficial are owned by the same company….so it was probably a plugin built just for them. Too bad….it has great functinality…wish I could find something similar…
