I'm getting started with Graphene, and blogging in general

    Hello forum

I have been working on my first blog for almost a month now, and I’m starting to get it looking and feeling the way I want it to. I was hoping that some of the more experienced users might be able to take a look at my blog and give me some feedback. Any criticism is welcome, I’m especially interested in any opinions on how the site looks – do you find it inviting, or does it turn you off? http://freedomthroughproperty.com

I have one specific issue as well. In this post – http://freedomthroughproperty.com/?p=83 – you will see I have a few comments. However, the comments spill over the page margins. How can I make the comments fit within the proper page width?

You’re using a separate plugin for the social comments, so try asking the plugin’s author since he/she knows more about it.

Just a suggestion for site; change the links structure. Currently, all you pages have links like “?p=6” or “?p=95”, etc. I would go to Settings–>Permalinks and change it to take the title of the article. This way the link will have the article name. Most professional websites use this including news sites like nationalpost Canada.

How did you increase the width of your site. I love the graphene theme but I need to make it wider to suit my site

You can easily change the width of the container and columns via Graphene options > Display > Column width options.
