i have a query regarding adding html codes when creating apost…if you go to the Visual option when creting a post all is fine…however if you want to do some styling using the html option the cursor bounces around the screen meaning you cannot type.

it seems to either go to the very beginning or end of the html code…it makes it ver frustrating as you have to continually click on each location where you want to type..

Also the spell check function doesn’t seem to work…when you choose the option it underlines words that are dubious but when you look for alternative spelling nothing happens…

Those functions you mention are provided by the TinyMCE editor bundled with WordPress itself. The theme has nothing to do with those.
