How to set one column on homepage?

    For the Graphene theme how do you set a one-column on the homepage, so that there is no sidebar? I see that it is an option on the other internal pages of the site, but the homepage doesn’t appear to have that option. Can you help a newbie out please 🙂

    You could use a static front page, and assign the one-column template to the page being used as the front page.

    The next version will allow you to disable the sidebar, so that all posts/pages will be displayed in a one-column layout.

    I’m using a two column static front page, and want to post on a one column second page. Is this possible? I already have the widgets set to be different for the front page. I just want to eliminate a column on the second post page to increase the width of the post section.

    Set the Column Options in the theme’s options page to one column, then set your static front page to two-column layout.
