How to remove background space above the top bar on the homepage

    Please help me to remove the background space from above the top bar and header on the homepage. The live demo of this theme shows the top bar beginning at the very top of the screen, while my site displays a section of background about 100px tall above the top bar.

    I have removed the site title and placed our logo in the top bar, seems to have removed the space.
