How do I modify the Graphene theme to become a regular website? I mean I will use your design, I just don’t want any of the blog post entry stuff or anything blog. I want to use WordPress for the ease of editing on my own and I know google loves wordpress.

I do carpet cleaning service and want this to be my regular website for my customers.

    Any help will be appreciated!

In the theme’s Display Options page, there’s a bunch of options that you can set to remove all the bloggy items, like post date, post author, post category, etc. to make the theme functions more as a regular website.

Hi, I already selected all the HIDE items, under display option… though it still has Leave a reply on the pages.

How do I also get rid of that stuff in the right column? Archives and Meta stuff? Thanks!

See this thread on how to disable the comments section: https://forum.graphene-theme.com/topic/leave-a-reply-section#post-695

To get rid of the Archives and Meta stuffs in the right sidebar, go to Appearance > Widgets and put your own widgets there, like a text widget containing a short summary of your business’ operations or history.

Future version of the theme will have an option to disable the right sidebar completely, leaving a one-column layout to be used for all posts and pages.

How do you put text in the sidebar widget that is unique to each page? And have it formatted for font, heading style, too?

    Thanks so much!

You can use the Widget Logic plugin to have different widgets for different pages. For styling, that you have to do yourself using CSS in a child theme.

I unchecked all boxes under discussion and now the home page has no slider and says not found within the page. But all other pages still have the Leave a reply. How much would you charge to just go in and set it up so i can build my site?
