Upload picture (I used 228px wide picture). Insert link in text widget:

<a href="http://www.link-to-page-or-web-site.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.link-to-picture-for-insert-text-widget.png" /></a>

Then some CSS code in Custom CSS or Child Theme: style.css

.sidebar p img {

border: 1px solid #AFAEAE;

margin-top: 7px;

}

Works just great for me.

I was able to add the image to the widget. Yippie, thanks so much.

Now, how do I add a link so when you click on the book image, it goes to the url where you can purchase the book?

I don’t have the url set up yet, just want to know now how to link it.

I’m jumping up and down, I’m so happy I actually did this. Like I said, this is my first wp project so everything I accomplish is like receiving candy.

Hi Jenny

Just look a the link you inserted in the text widget.

Now You have: http://www.link-to-page-or-web-site.com/

Change link part to the link You want 🙂
