How to disable the top nav bar and prev post/next post

  • powayjulie

    I’m using Graphene, a Graphene Child theme and Graphene Neo and can’t figure out how to disable the top nav bar altogether. A ghost in the machine seems to be creating its own nav menu of my Pages (Contact, Privacy, etc) although I have not created that menu and can’t find it anywhere to delete it. I made a custom menu that included only Home and it did override the mysterious Pages menu but I JUST WANT THE NAV BAR COMPLETELY GONE. I’ve taken down my custom menu and the freakin’ Pages menu is back. Hopefully, someone can see where it’s coming from and how to eliminate it.

    Oh, I’d also like to eliminate the prev post/next post on desktop and mobile.

    Thanks in advance for your help. I’m kind of a newbie so go easy on me!

    Anyone? Bueller? If it’s impossible, that would be great to know, too, so I can stop wishing for something that can’t happen.

    Add to custom CSS:

    nav, .post-nav {display: none;}

    Should work on desktop; not so sure about mobile.
