How to create static frontpage with Homepage Panes

    Hi, I just purchased Graphene PLUS, and cannot find out how to display home page panes (which are my latest posts) in ONE column, NOT two. I am also using a sticky static page at the top of my homepage.

    I read Shubham’s instructions at the top of this thread, but he did not show how to do the one-column version of his homepage illustration.

    Thank you,
    Pamela, http://www.IntimateKingdom.com

    Hi Pamela,

    long time ago, but maybe you can help me:
    I’m just trying to get the same result as on your homepage: a Static sticky frontpage with blogs underneath in *one* column.
    Didn’t find a way to build that with Graphene.

    Any help will be very much appreciated.

    Cheers Uli

    Hello Uli,

    I bought the priority support, and wrote them about this. I found the email they sent, and this is what it said:

    Try copying the code below and paste it into Customizer > Additional CSS:

    .homepage-pane-wrap {
    width: 100%;
    }

    I put this code into my child theme, and I think (if I remember correctly) this did the trick! 🙂

    P.S. I remember I needed a bit more tweaking even after putting in that code I just sent you, but they did it for me.

    Hi Pamela,

    thanks a lot for your quick response.
    And YES: it works.
    The only thing I need in addition is to display the full content of the blogs and hide the “Continue reading” button as well.
    On a “normal” blog page that works according to the theme’s setting, but not in the frontpage panes.

    Thanks again and keep care…

    Cheers Uli

    Hmm, sorry, that one I don’t know.

    I know you could, as one option, put the whole content into the “excerpt” section that is an on option for each blog post. That’s what I do, only I put part of each post (choosing it’s length, which is different for each one) into the excerpt section. But if I wanted to I could put the whole blog post into the excerpt section and then it would display the whole thing. Only, it would not eliminate the Continue reading button.

    (P.S. I think my excerpt feature is a part of my Mashshare plug-in features, not sure)

    Good luck!
