How to change widget layout in post/post-new.php
-
Hello,
I think that this is not really Graphene-related but I really wonder how to change layout of page, where you create or edit posts for all users.
I figured out that it works with drag and drop quite well… but only for one account. I use some plugins so it is kinda messy. So I want other users to see this page like I do.
Is it possible? How do I do that?
Or is there at least some way to turn off the graphene-options-thingy in bottom of posting page?
Many thanks

What users see when they are editing a post or a page really depends on the role you have assigned them to.
You may simply need to change their role to something more suitable:
Excuse my confusing English but I do not think you understand me. All my users are authssxxxxors and they are supposed to be able to post new content – that is fine.
But I want to re-arragne or hide some boxes like Publish, Tags, etc… for them to make posting page more ergonomical and simple.
For example – I use very handy plugin Image Pro which is usefull just below editor box. But there is quite long Graphene Options box between them. So I could drag Graphene Options box and drop it below Image Pro box. But this affects only my account. So is there some way to set default settings for all users so they do not need to bother with this at all?

Try using the User Role Editor plugin.

I’ve used it myself to create additional roles for other users, but you can also edit existing roles. It may be what you are looking for.
