How do I change the color of the font/text in the primary nav?

    my site is rainforestdiaries.com

I would like to change the primary navigation font color from black to white but cannot figure out how to do it. I see under Graphene Options/Colors a place where I should be able to do this but the color will not change from black?

I would also like to change the > sign from black to white. In my drop down menus the text is now white but the > symbol is still showing in black.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thank you,

The item you want to change is “Menu Item”. For black, use a hex code of #000.

If that does not work, you may have a plugin conflict of some sort.

    Hi,

Thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately the text in the primary nav is black and I want it to be white.

I have reviewed the menu item box under primary navigation and it has #fff in it.

In fact I don’t have #000 anywhere in my graphene options.

My wordpress install is new and I don’t have any plugins or widgets installed.

Is there anything else it could be? Is there a way I can attach or email the screen capture so that you can see my settings?

My site is http://www.rainforestdiaries.com so you can see the black text in the orange primary nav bar. That is the text I would like to be white.

    Thanks again for your help.
