Homepage panes "Read more button"
-
Hello!
My site is aspros.gr. I use homepage panes.
Is it possible to have a button like “Read more” unter the panes that will show more posts or go to a “next page like”
If you have a posts page listing recent posts, you can use action hooks widgets to give a link to second page of your blogs page.
I enabled includes/theme-panes.php -> graphene_after_homepage_panes and I put a button but it displays under the second post and not the last.
Is it possible to load more posts in the Home page panes in a way like infinite scroll?
Hi Panos,
I’m just wondering if you could possiblly set the number of posts in the homepage panes settings to the number of posts you actually have. So, for example, in Reading Settings where it asks how many posts you want to display, could you not set it to 100 or 200, or an appropriate number for your website?
I’m just thinking out loud here. If you decide to try this, let me know how it works out for you….
Regards,
Sharon
P.S. It could also be helpful if you tick “Infinite Scroll” in Graphene Options – General – Infinite Scroll. That might work for you also?????

Nope. It won’t work that way.
The number of posts in Homepage panes are controlled through Graphene options.
Of course, you’re absolutely right Luko.
Sorry about that, Panos. I’d been playing around with Homepage Panes and Latest Posts all day and I muddled the two up in my response to you earlier. Reading Settings is for Latest Posts. Apologies.
Anyhow, I tested it this morning and set my “number of posts to display” to 50 in Hompeage Options and that worked for me.
Regards,
Sharon 🙂
