Home Page Problems
I built my website http://tnthomefitness.com using the Graphene Theme about 6 months ago and up until recently it had been working great. However, in the last week or so, my site has become dramatically slow to load, especially the home page. I am having issues not only with the loading time of the home page, but the right side bar no longer appears and the slider isn’t rotating between images an longer. I checked the page attributes, and the settings all look right. The rest of the pages, including the blog seem to be functioning normally. I can only think that it may have something to do with the plugins that I recently installed, but after deleting them I am still having the same problems with the site. Please advise.

Do you have Google Adsense or other ad system installed? This could be caused by a plug-in issue. FYI, I can’t even load your page at all.ModQuote:it may have something to do with the plugins that I recently installed
It might be helpful to know which plugins those were. Not all plugins are good ones. You should only use plugins that you download from the WP Plugin repository, or install from within WP.Quote:after deleting them I am still having the same problems with the site
Deleted, or merely deactivated? Some plugins can cause issues if they’re deactivated but still installed. On the other hand, some plugins leave entries in your database, even after they’ve been deleted.
I suggest disabling all of your plugins and seeing if that does anything for you:
Sanuja, I don’t have any ad systems like Google Adsense at all. And all the other pages on my site function just fine right now, I am only having problems with my home page, so it’s really confusing.
Kenneth, I only added plugins from the WP Directory, and they were recommended by other people who specialize in blogging and maximizing their visibility in social media. Here are the ones I added, although I de-activated and deleted most of them.

What is the URL of your website? The above one isn’t resolving.

Okay, apparently that was the problem itself!

Seems to be a DNS problem. Talk to your host about this issue.
