I’m new to web design and have been creating a new site http://www.peterdadams.com with your theme. I downloaded a plugin and didn’t like it so I uninstalled and deleted it. Now the Home page does not reflect the custom menues I have created. I deleted the Home page, change it to another and still the wrong menues appear. Please help. Thanks

Check the settings in WP Admin > Appearance > Menus, and make sure that the custom menu is assigned to the appropriate menu location.

Yes, the custom menues are assigned to the correct locations and appear on all the other pages except the home page. The plugin I installed was Marguee.

Try changing to the default TwentyEleven theme and see if the menu still doesn’t work properly.

What do you mean by appear on the page and not on the home page? The menu on the home page looks exactly like the menu on the main page at least to me. If you go to WordPress options, you will be able to create dynamic drop down menus. The placement of these menus can be controlled by the left hand side drop down selector.♦

I changed it to the default TwentyEleven theme and it’s still not correct. The two menues that appear on the home page are Archives and Meta. If you look at the other pages my custom menues appear on the right just as i placed them. So why are they don’t showing on the Home Page?

You actually meant the widgets, not the menus. But it seems like you’ve sorted this out on your site.

Yes, I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the theme. Thanks for your help.
